America's 250th Birthday Party Nail Art Competition (TURN IN)

Celebrate America's 250th birthday with a creative nail art design that captures the spirit of the nation's anniversary. Think beyond traditional red, white, and blue and create a festive party worthy of this historic milestone. Designs may include patriotic elements, fireworks, iconic landmarks, historical influences, celebrations, Americana, or your unique interpretation of America's 250th birthday.

Competition Requirements

Entry Format

• Competition piece must consist of 10 decorated nail tips.

• Tips must be displayed on a presentation board.

• All 10 tips must coordinate as a complete collection.

• Entries must be completed prior to the event and turned in at registration.

Product Usage

• Any professional nail products may be used.

• Hand-painted art, sculpting, chrome, foils, embellishments, mixed media, and 3D elements are permitted.

• All artwork must be created by the competitor.

Rules

• One entry per competitor.

• Entries must be original work.

• Entries must not have been previously entered in another competition.

• The competitor's name must not appear on the front of the display.

• No live work may be performed after submission.

Judging Criteria

Creativity & Originality – 25 Points

Unique interpretation of the theme and artistic vision.

Theme Interpretation – 25 Points

How well the design represents America's 250th Birthday Party.

Technical Execution – 25 Points

Clean application, detail work, balance, and professional finish.

Overall Presentation – 15 Points

Visual impact and cohesiveness of the 10-piece set.

Difficulty & Complexity – 10 Points

Level of skill demonstrated through techniques and design elements.

Total Possible Score: 100 Points

Submission Information

• Entries must be submitted by the designated competition deadline.

• All entries will be displayed during the event.

• Judges' decisions are final.

Photography Release

By entering the competition, participants grant permission for photographs of their entry to be used by event organizers for promotional and educational purposes.
